Privacy policy

This policy explains what Sherwood Recruiting LLC ("Sherwood Recruiting") collects through sherwoodrecruiting.com, by email, by phone and by text message, how that information is used, and how to have it corrected or deleted.

What is collected

• What you send. Your name, work email, company and message when you use the contact form or write directly, and your phone number if you call, text or provide it.
• Call bookings. Calls are booked through Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time under its own privacy policy.
• Technical data. Your IP address and browser details are processed briefly to deliver the site, block automated spam and limit repeated submissions. Visits may be counted in aggregate with Google Analytics.

How it is used

Information is used only to reply to you, scope and deliver recruiting work you ask about, schedule calls, keep business records and invoice clients. It is never sold or rented.

Data Sharing

• Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
• Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Messaging Program Terms and Conditions

1. The messaging program may consist of general customer care messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers, and/or marketing messaging that include discount codes, special deals or texts promoting our products/services, depending on which programs(s) you opt in to. We will only send content you have explicitly signed up to receive via our opt-in process. Messages will be sent from (574) 200-8995.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text 'STOP' to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at larry@sherwoodrecruiting.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Who processes it

A small set of service providers handle information on behalf of Sherwood Recruiting, each only to provide its service: Netlify (site hosting), Airtable (inquiry records), Resend and Hostinger (email), Cloudflare (spam protection), Calendly (scheduling), Google (aggregate analytics) and a text messaging provider. Information may also be disclosed when the law requires it. None of this sharing includes mobile opt-in data or consent.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no advertising cookies. Your cream or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser. Analytics and spam protection tools may set their own cookies.

How long it is kept

Inquiry records are kept as long as they are useful for responding and for ordinary business and tax records, then deleted.

To see, correct or delete what is held about you, email larry@sherwoodrecruiting.com or call 574-200-8995. Requests are confirmed by reply. The site is intended for business users and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
